GRANT LINES UP SUCCESS FOR TARALGA RUGBY CLUB

GRANT LINES UP SUCCESS FOR TARALGA RUGBY CLUB
NSW Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres today visited the Taralga Sports Field to award a $2500 grant for a new line marking machine.

Minister Ayres said Taralga Rugby Union Club has been a massive part of the
community for decades.

“When we invest in sport, we are not only contributing to improved community health and lifestyles, we are also investing in community connections,” Minister Ayres said.

“It’s great to be here today to be able to provide this grant and enable the Club to keep linemarking going,” he said.

Taralga Rugby Union Club Vice President Evan Rees said “I'd like to acknowledge and thank our local member Pru Goward MP and the Minister of Sport Stuart Ayres MP for this important grant,” Mr Rees said.

“The money will certainly help our club members in facilitating sport within our small community township of Taralga with the purchase of a line marking machine for our Sports Oval.”

Taralga Rugby was first established in 1886 while being re-established in the year 2000. The 2018 season will see the introduction of our first women's Rugby Team, who will play prior to our men's games.
