$470,000 FUNDING FOR BOOROWA COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Member for Goulburn, the Hon. Pru Goward today announced Hilltops Council has received $470,000 in funding to breathe life into several community projects in Boorowa as part of the NSW Government’s $200
million Stronger Country Communities fund.
Hilltops Council Mayor, Brian Ingram said the funding for the Boorowa Recreation park, along with the Boorowa Playground, will help ensure these community amenities are utilised by residents and visitors well into the future and thanks the State Government for their financial support.
“Ensuring the recreational facilities across the Hilltops Region continue to provide the community with a safe and enjoyable place to gather and stay active is a key priority for Council,” Mayor Ingram said.
Ms Goward said the government’s significant investment in the Goulburn electorate will provide residents with improved facilities the whole region can enjoy.

“Stronger Country Communities funding is an investment in local infrastructure to improve the lives of residents and enhance the attractiveness of our region – this funding will help us do exactly that,” Ms Goward said.
The Stronger Country Communities fund is part of the NSW Government’s $1.3 billion Regional Growth Fund, designed to improve economic growth and productivity with investment in regional communities.
